Tentacool are not strong swimmers, so they tend to drift along with the waves which can make them hard to see, causing many fishers to unintentionally be stung by their poison stingers. (If you get stung by a Tentacool, quickly go to the nearest hospital)

Tentacool are sometimes found shriveled up on beaches at low tide, but they're still alive most of the time so throwing them back into the water will revive them right away.

As Tentacool floats along, it stabs anything it touches with the poison stingers at the end of its tentacles, which can sometimes cause them to break off, but they quickly grow back.

Tentacool's body is 99% water and the remaining 1% is composed of the organ that secrets the poison that coats Tentacool's stingers.
