I've recently been getting into Genshin so I have a question...are there any other Genshin characters you've been tempted to pick up?
[ thank you for the question ! i would say there was, because at the moment, there isn't anyone else i'd like to pick up or feel like i could do a good job on. believe it or not, when yoimiya was first announced, i was SO SET on picking her up as my muse bc i love everything about her. her design was so on-point, her personality, her aesthetics, her voice, right down to her mechanics in-game. but after i've played her quest, while i still LOVE her to bits, i somehow can't see myself connecting well with her.
i don't really know why, tbh ? i still very much adore her & love her to the moon & back, but i just don't feel like i'd be able to do her justice. it's just that feeling that i don't feel connected with her enough to delve into her core or channel her. other than yoimiya, i don't think there is anyone else as of now ( based on all the characters who had been released or are confirmed to be released officially. ) so i don't plan on adding anyone new in the future. right now, i'm content with my best girl lumine & my queen eula ! i know there are many ppl who don't like eula bc of how she's portrayed in-game. there are some bits & pieces that irked me as well, so my take on eula is a bit of a canon divergent, but i hope that i do both lumine & eula justice so far ! ]
