Jon/Dany is a canon relationship, the one that is going to be the emotional core of the war for the dawn (as Martin commented, their meeting&convergence “is sort of the point” of the series), so as a fan of the series who is excited to watch the three (two?) heads of the dragon lead humanity against ice demons there’s a lot of material to discuss/analyze/reblog, even from a non-shipper perspective. But as a pairing it just doesn’t give me those “omg I love their interactions so much, but what if they KISSED?” vibes I get from dynamics like Jon/Sansa or Jaime/Brienne. There was no time for that, as it became canon faster than you could say “romantic subtext”.
