Anyway I've watched so many of these I think to myself that I've got my order in mind. A shallow black gunslinger style crown with a super wide brim for the drama, minimum 4-inches if not more. Cock it up over one eye and swoop it down over the other, also for the Drama. Shiny black leather or satin ribbon band, one sleek black feather (crow maybe?) on the side, fasten it all with a silver and black brooch of some kind. I mean how cool would that be with an equally goth bolo tie or something?

Day 3 and I sit up with the crystal clear realization that this is just the genderbent version of my SnOwman cosplay hat.

(in which Kris attempts to keep a dream diary. Inspired by recent nights attempting to sleep with Covid.)

Night One:

Last night everything was covered in broken glass. I was on my hands and knees, sifting through it for something. When they moved, the shards ground together with a sound that was like the worst migraine. The colours and shapes shifted before my eyes like a sickening kaleidoscope. And no matter how deep I dug, I could never reach the floor.

It seemed that it was my own mind that had shattered, each piece of misshapen glass a thought or feeling that competed with all the other thoughts and feelings I've ever had or ever will have. If that's right, then... how would I ever be able to put myself back together...?

When I woke up, I had that piece of glass in my hand. It was too dark to look through, so I put it back on my dresser.

Night Two:

I stood in the centre of a great room, through which information was being passed from one end to another. I watched as symbols I've never seen before raced past me in both directions, an alien two-way communication for which I was somehow the go-between. None of it made any sense to me, no matter how I tried to read it. The noise of it, the senseless chatter, drove me to despair and I lashed out at anything I could to try and make it stop.

It felt like someone or something was communicating through me, as though I were nothing more than a high-speed cable. Messages meant for some other entity in a language I couldn't understand.

...I don't like these dreams.

Night Three:

Something was flying just out of the corner of my eye, bright red in the darkness. An insect, a flash of light... I tried to look at it, but it was always too fast. Then I tried ignoring it, but the thing wouldn't leave me alone. It enraged me, and I threw my arms out at the shape to capture it, to make it stand still so I could see what it truly was. For what seemed like hours I chased it, tossing and turning feverishly in my bed, until I had it in my hands and it was my own beating heart.

I don't know what compelled me to squeeze it as hard as I did. It was agony. But it also felt right. Like this was what was supposed to happen.

I don't know what this means. I don't think I want to know.

...maybe this was a mistake.

Honestly, RF4 is such an underrated game. The sheer amount of content and attention to detail...truly a hidden gem of a game. Definitely deserves more love.
