I still headcanon Snape as slavic (I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL) and just thinking of late severitus with it amuses me.
based off some interactions with my own (very Polish/Ukrainian) mother:
*intensive not-English swearing sounding like some demonic cult chant from another room* *doesn't even blink*
"There's this one phrase, butβ Ugh, it doesn't translate rightβ" "βit's either about pigs or war, isn't it?"
*vaguely confusing hand gestures such as pulling lower eyelid down and The Wall Thing*
if you wanna play around with accented Snape/first-gen immigrant Snape, me and my mom do this thing where I'll try to help her pronounce an odd word and she'll just give up and say something that uses "ΕΌ" a truly unnecessary amount of times. There's also what happened to the word "vocabulary", where it has become "vocabublary". Though I think that's kind of universal with immigrant parents, English faceplanting depressedly.
oh and don't get me started on mousebats-
ethnicity/nationality headcanons are always fun, especially if you don't take yourself seriously.
