Phyllo dough, Oranges, Grapefruit, Eggs, Oats, Pepitas, Almonds, Parsnips, Cream, Ironwort, Olive Oil, Butter, Salt, Pepper, Sugar, Molasses, Chili Powder, Cinnamon, Cloves
Today I made these little phyllo cups with orange & grapefruit curd, topped with mountain tea infused whipped cream and spiced granola w/ roasted parsnips. I did all of the prep work between the hours of midnight and 3AM, and assembled them this afternoon. I’ve had this idea/flavor combo in my head for a while. I am especially pleased with how well the parsnips go (I’ve been on a huge parsnip kick lately) and also infusing the cream with the mountain tea turned out just as well as I suspected.
