Aaaahh yeah it's really annoying :/ I've not seen too much hate on here, because I really try not to go looking for it bcs it makes me rly annoyed. And that's like, probably one of the only things that will get me to actually block someone(which I rarely ever do.) However, I do frequent reddit and there was some post abt his comments after the sprint and UGH the comments bothered me so much. Sometimes I'm tempted to look at the anti tags, but from what I've seen already, ik it's gonna piss me off. I already blocked some people yesterday bcs of it.

I've talked abt this a lot with people but. Ik rationally that there's some people out there who don't like him, and don't enjoy his antics. But it sucks to see people hate on the traits that you like best 😔 Like people saying "he's a really good driver BUT his off track antics ruin his career, and he should never win a race." And a lot of antis, it feels like they're always waiting for some tiny thing like this to validate their opinion that Fernando is genuinely a terrible person who doesn't deserve anything. People want drama, and then they hate it when he gives them drama 🙄 anyways I have a lot of thoughts on the comments he made, but idk if I should say on main haha, not that I really care. Also, people now calling him a terrorist for accidentally being at the scene of the crime for several crashes, when he's one of the cleanest drivers ever 😔 rude.

is anyone thinking about me right now? as i lie here dizzying myself with a bitter IPA and not responding to a single text. at a certain point you get tired of men you’ve never met telling you what they want to do to you. if it’s not singing like a bird i don’t want to hear it. or helping me with dishes or coming up with new names for colors. of course i want touch. as much as i want, sometimes, to jump in the lake with my phone in my pocket. to lie on a big boulder by the lake next to him and feel his big hand against my thigh. there’s something so romantic about the neck of a beer bottle. or i’m just watching too many movies, lying about myself to seem cooler. really what i’d love is to open my eyes underwater and see you there. resting down at the bottom with the broken glass, or in a nice world with the trusting crayfish crawling over your knees. i’d never tell you this is about you. just like i wait a day to text you back. i keep it down like foam.

I thought the way Mike took El hitting Angela with the roller was very in character because Mike idolizes El and has her on a pedestal. In S1, when El broke the bullies leg and arm, it was a life or death situation. She was like a hero. Then, in S4, even though Angela deserved it (lol), it wasn't a life or death situation and it's like seeing El do that crashed Mike's "superhero" image of El and what he thinks the morals of a superhero are...

CORRECT!!! this is exactly why mike had a problem with what el did to angela. the bottom line is: that isn't how superheroes act. they save people! and sure, they hurt people, but only when innocent people are in danger. mike saw el break out of his "superhero" idealization of her and simply couldn't agree with it.

also the way that when they're fighting he calls her eleven ("eleven, what is this? you're being ridiculous")... eleven is her superhero name! she just told him that she didn't want to be seen as just a superhero. she wants mike to love her for her. not for her powers. yet mike can't do that. he calls her eleven multiple times throughout the season, even though he was the one to give her the nickname "el." this was a clear dialogue choice used to link his superhero idealization with how he views (and speaks to).
