Alright! This art work took hours, and hours well spent in my opinion. Choosing the words from a book and cutting them out, then positioning them in aesthetically pleasing waysβ then, of course, cutting shapes from some gold textured paper... this project was a constant stream of happiness for me.
The soulmates themes have always been so intense in this fic, and especially from Miraak's side (although I never miss Chrysanthe's own intensity). This particular poem is from Miraak's point of view, and was chosen to reflect his feelings for Chry.
I do hope you enjoy this one as much as I love it.

(april 2017): cole sprouse revises his position and claims that heβs βtornβ because it βmakes senseβ for betty and jughead to βfind solace in each otherβ. solace apparently means sex. with coleβs apparently extensive research into asexuality he should probably have known how iffy this statement is.
(naturally aromanticism is never discussed. disappointed but not surprised)
