definitely not often but mase knows her well enough to know there’s something else wrong when she’s treating him like shit & bc rose NEVER TALKS ABOUT HER FEELINGS EVER him pushing usually leads to a fight where they both get frustrated and explode at each other

i wanna say something about jealousy but.. tbh they’d both get over that super fast bc they don’t want to be out of each other’s lives ever again? so i’m gonna say probably something involving their time apart, them both having super rough feelings about what happened respectively (him having to watch her die & her thinking everybody she loved was gone) & having a huge fight about it, not really realizing that neither one had control over what happened. he’d probably get super upset about her giving up her life for someone like jackson & she’d get pissed off at him bc she thought he never even tried to find her before alexandria. obvs they’d make up but i think it would probably take some outside help to convince them both on their own that they’re being idiots and neither of them had control over anything (:) eddie explaining to rose that mason NEVER gave up looking for her when he found out she was alive, scott reminding mase that rose isn’t the kind of person to leave the people she loves behind ((and that’s why mase loves her lol!!!!!)) )

they definitely knew everything about each other before she went into the games. favorite food, how they like their eggs, when it was cool to make fun of each other (& when it was definitely time to just sit in silence). i think it’ll be hard for them both when he finds her & they realize they’ve both changed a lot since they were in school, but i know they’ll spend DAYS getting to know each other again & it’ll be super easy to fall back into that pattern with them
