My mother: *pours lemon flavored oil into the salad, pauses, then pours a lot more*
My mother (very loudly): Oh no, Zarya you can't add so much lemon oil! Your dad doesn't like it!

If you're taking prompts could I request I never meant to hurt you with alyanette?
“I never meant to hurt you” was scrawled on the wall of their apartment, the words written in a messy scrawl, hastily, just about their headboard. The loopy handwriting had drove Marinette to beg Alya to live there, the desperation of the words crawling deep into her heart and begging her to stay close. They weren’t meant for her, and they definitely weren’t written by her, but there was a heart-wrenching story behind them that she knew she would never get.
She’s never expected Alya to say those words to her in the last few minutes of her life.
The weather is clear, the sun shining as a pleasant breeze offers comfort from the blistering heat. It’s the kind of perfect day people write about in fairy tales, where everything is okay and the heroine is happy. But Marinette can’t even think about being happy as Alya coughs out her lungs, blood staining her mouth.
“I love you,” she whispers. “Promise me you’ll be okay.”
Marinette nods through her tears, trying to smile as the light leaves her girlfriend’s eyes. She never even gets to face the man who’d taken her life, as he’d run away at the sight of the injury.
She wonders if he knows that real injury he’s left behind is invisible, cutting away at Marinette’s heart for years to come.
