Dean unlocked the door, using the key that Iris had gave him. In his arms held party supplies. He grinned, making sure Iris wasn't home. He shut the door, grinning.

He started blasting rock music, putting up the streamers. He sang, putting the cake, and the pie, on the counter. He wasn't sure if he was doing this right, but it felt right.

When he was done, he shut off the lights, and turned off the music, hiding in the living room.

Iris walked in the door, "Dean? You here? I thought someone would be here on my birthday, but I guess-" She flicked on the lights, and gasped.

"Surprise!" Dean yelled, popping up from behind the corner. She squealed with joy. "Dean! I didn't expect you to do this!" She ran up to him, hugging him tightly. "Anything for you little sis," He said, hugging her back. He turned on the music again, lowering the volume.

"Happy birthday sis," He said, walking over to the cake. He lit the candles, turning towards her. "Make a wish, I think. Isn't that what you do with candles?" He chuckled, watching her face glow from the soft light of the candles.

Iris grinned, "I'll make a wish, but I couldn't ask for anything better," She blew out her candles, laughing. Dean pulled out a small newspaper-wrapped present. "Here," He offered it to her.

"Oh, you didn't have to get anything for me!" Her eyes twinkling, she unwrapped it. She held it up in awe.

It was an anti-possession necklace, but prettier than the other ones he had. It was silver anti-possession symbol, and a second charm of delicate swirls on a sterling silver chain. "Do you like it?" He asked, biting his lip. He never got people gifts like this, and he was nervous.
