I've got two sever.ance S/Is/verses for my selfship-- one where I'm part of the innie of a DID system who chose to undergo the sever.ance procedure in a desperate bid for their own freedom (it's the only way out of their current living situation that they can see.)
The other one is where the sever.ance procedure goes sideways for Mark and he ends up with a (unknown to either outie or innie for a while) third self stuck 'in between' ie me (this is more explicitly a self-love metaphor while the first verse is, besides being selfship, more about my perspective and thoughts on the hypothetical interplay of the sever.ance procedure and a complex dissociative disorder.)
The second one actually has the potential to become adjacent to itself as a delightfully messed up isekai AU if I can figure that out. It intrigues me. (What if you were me and got trapped in your F/O's head due to SOMEONE fucking around and finding out?)
