want hug :(
Emily or other admin, Py again. I just found out that tomorrow is only an evaluation and because the therapist doesn't take our insurance it's going to be about $350. So it's not even worth it to mention my depression or anxiety because I can't afford to go back after the visit tomorrow. (Reminder that the reason my mom is taking me to this woman is for my ADD)
Well, if not her, then maybe someone else who DOES take your insurance. :) I hope it all works out for you... If there’s anything I/we as admins can do to help you out, let us know!

Emily (or most convenient admin), Py here. Is it normal for me to go back and forth on the idea of therapy? I'm just really really terrified about talking about my problems. I want to get better but I also don't. I've been this way for years and it's all I know now. I don't know how to talk about my feelings and problems. At all. (please answer asap before Wednesday) -py
Py,
That is absolutely normal! Talking about your "problems" can be absolutely terrifying and nerve wracking especially if you've been one way for years. I honestly do believe though that therapy works for so many people if you want it to... It's obviously up to you how much you let it help you but it can work wonders... Therapists are paid and trained to help you talk things out so don't stress too much about talking to them... I hope your meeting with the therapist goes well, darling :)
