something that i don't think gets talked about enough is johnny's asshole attitude being cyberpsychosis. i am not trying to excuse his behavior by any means. but! i think it's interesting that we talk about how v and johnny sort of start becoming each other in certain ways; johnny becoming more compassionate, v becoming more of an asshole. but v also has the option to get more and more chrome as the story goes on and does not deal with cyberpsychosis and i think the running theory is that it's because of the relic (and also because current hardware is a lot safer). but i think the relic might also be curing johnny's cyberpsychosis a bit. so it's a combination of v's influence and the relic making him slightly less of an asshole.
