The Breakfast Club and Lost Boys
the breakfast club: which high school stereotype do you fit into best? i legit googled high school cliques to figure out what i would have fit in lol. i would probably classify myself as a floater—i was friends with a lot of different people who were in different groups and i would kind of bounce around between them.
the lost boys: would you rather be immortal or objectively beautiful to everyone? immortality sounds fucking terrible, so i’d choose to be objectively beautiful to everyone which, i’m sure has some downsides, but considerably way less than watching everyone you love die around you.

#ask#may-grant#you could MAYBE have called me a theatre kid#but i wasn't good enough at theatre lol#case in point: i was legit the O N L Y senior who wasn't cast in the senior musical#like...it was basically a given if you were a senior and auditioned for the spring musical you'd get cast#bc it's like your last time to be in it right?#(my high school was small so this was easily a thing the theatre director could do)#aND I DIDN'T GET A PART IN THE CHORUS#like it was so outside of the realm of possibility that for WEEKS people would be like 'see you at rehearsal tonight kat?' and i'd stare at#*them blankly#and be like '....no? remember i didn't get cast' and they'd give me this blank stare and be like 'BUT YOU AUDITIONED'#anyway i think the director felt like an asshole about it bc then he tried to offer me the stage manager position#and i was just like 'nah fuck you v much'#(i suspect the reason i didn't get cast is bc i was an awkward chubby teen who wasn't objectively pretty and he tended to cast girls based#*on their looks#(the lead of the spring musical was a girl who could not sing or act or dance but she looked GOOD with the male lead and that's why she got#*cast in the play. no joke it was like...an openly known fact)
