Ted,

I owe you a colossal thank you for the tip you gave me about the kitchens, it’s come in handy more than once. All the house-elves are lovely, but Milly and Domley, in particular, have been helpful. I imagine they’d be pleased I’m singing their praises to someone else and perhaps they have some way of knowing, they are funny creatures after all. It’s a commendation well deserved, I can only aspire to the magic they can work on a scone. 

I haven’t had need of a place to crash yet, but I’ll likely take you up on the offer at some point (after all, we all have moments of drunken weakness don’t we?). I actually wanted to ask if you and your flatmates had any thoughts about a Halloween party. I’m trying to sort some details out with a friend for the holiday and Number 7 came to mind. If nothing is in the works, that’s fine of course. Any prospective leads are welcome. 

Bit of an odd question, but do you ever miss Siren? I know Hogwarts signifies moving onto bigger things, chasing after our dreams, etc. but I find myself missing those hallowed halls every now and again. Yes, that even includes Professor Nettle (though maybe not his breath, I heard rumor he doesn’t believe in toothbrushes which explains quite a lot). It’s not a question to dwell too heavily on, it’s probably just first-year melancholy.

I do believe I was promised lunch. I’m fine with just about anywhere but Puddifoot’s, I could even ask Milly and Domley to put something together. Gino’s is another contender, I haven’t yet and I’ve heard decent things. Let me know when works for you and we’ll nail down a time.
