iâm sorry idk how this came out as angst. i didnât mean for it to.
He sits in his truck, looking at the college campus with a sort of disdain.Â
He has the country station onâsomething heâs been listening to now, trying to remain happy as one can be when their girl lives so out of reach, and watches as a few happy couples stroll past his truck, holding hands and giving each other the look of love. Heâs jealous, really, he is.Â
He doesnât remember being that jealous in his life. Heâd happily share his toys with kids on the playground and didnât even mind that much when he had to give his room to Jenna. (He was mad about that for a whole other reason.) Heâs always been okay with everything he has, never dwelling on what could make his life better, at least when it came to superficial things.Â
But with Spencer, the best thing thatâs ever happened to him, he just wants her all the damn time. He knows itâs wrong, but she just makes his heart swell in his chest until his rib cage burns and makes him smile so big his cheeks hurt. Heâs so in love with her, and he wants to be with her all the time, so when he sees happy couples together, heâs jealous. Heâs jealous because they are with their person and he is not.
Itâs been harder making the transition of not seeing her all the time than he thought. He knew itâd be hard, but god, he didnât know he was so dependent  on this girl. He misses her so much, more than he ever has.
He sees her coming towards him from the distance. He jumps out of his car, quickly making his way over to her. She has this vibrant, enchanting smile on her face that reaches her sparkling eyes and stretches out her cheeks. With that look, he almost thinks the time they spend apart is worth it. Almost.
He has his arms out and she is slamming into him. He spins her around, one, two, three times before blending his mouth with hers. Sheâs grinning into the kiss, and heâs still holding her, her feet dangling from the ground. She kisses him so hard that it knocks the wind out of his lungs. He wants nothing more than for this to last forever, but his lungs are burning and heâs beginning to remember that there is a crowd of students around them.
He lets her go and sheâs still smiling that same old Spencer smile, but she seems happierâher smile seems like itâs missing the ghostly presence that Rosewood brought on her.
They go walk through down town and Spencer buys him a new jacket, and heâs beginning to notice the change in her wardrobe. Sheâs wearing blazers again and vests, and ties, and is business casual, and he wonders if this is just her. The real her that Rosewood sucked out of her. Is she finally finding herself again? Will this Spencer love him as much as the old one?
Itâs a selfish thought, honestly. Because this Spencer seems happier and thatâs the only thing that truly matters, regardless if this Spencerâs heart is still his.
She spends a lot of their time together doing homework, which is fine with him because he simply just wants to be with herâsee her, be in the same room with her. Sheâs so focused and into her work and he realizes without A, she finally can be. She doesnât have  to use all her brain power on keeping herself and her friends alive.
She asks why heâs still in Rosewood, as she does every time he sees her, and he once again canât explain it. Itâs like this: heâs always running from something, or at least he did. He always leaves, and for the first time he wants to stay. Rosewoodâs better now, different, and heâs realizes in a way that itâs not the town thatâs evil.Â
Itâs his last day visiting herâthe Sunday, and they are laying in her bed. She has this itch, this constant shake of her leg and wandering eyes, and heâs so used to it. She canât relax. There is always something.
âWhat is it?â he asks.
âNothing,â she blows it off.Â
He cocks his head at her and she sighs and says she still has work to do thatâs due that night. He nods, and says he should be going anyways, and she doesnât argue.
He knows that itâs selfish, but god, oh god, he just wants her to need him. He suddenly feels like he is completely dependable on her, while she is fading from him, falling away into work and blazers and another life.
He wants to say something, to beg she fall back in love with her, but he knows itâs selfish.
She tells him she loves him though, and itâs enough for now, but he is so worried that sheâll just grow further apart from him. He feels this overwhelming urge to hold on to her tightly and never let go when he hugs her goodbye. He wants to cling onto her and stop her from bypassing him, but he knows itâs selfish. Spencer belongs to the world, and to her work, and yeah, she loves him. He knows she loves him, but there is so much more in her world now. She has so much more, and he is worried that heâll fall at the bottom of her priorities. Heâs worried that heâs realized something that heâll never be able to forget.
Spencer doesnât need him anymore, and he knows thatâs good. He knows itâs good that she is great on her own and is doing amazing with her new life. He is proud of her, oh god, is he  proud of her.Â
But he knows she is slipping. Heâs not the most important thing to her anymore, and heâs jealous. Sheâs so independent that it scares him into believing sheâll find out she doesnât really need him at allâthat heâs just a distraction to what really matters.Â
He loves her and she loves him, he knows that, but somethingâs happening between them that heâs incapable of stopping.

Itâs the middle of January and a blanket of snow has covered Rosewood overnight. Schools have been closed, college classes canceled. People are out with their families on the great hills of Rosewood, sledding and  gliding through the snow.
Spencer is not one for the cold, though. She stays inside, flipping through the pages of her newest novel. She sits before the fire, keeping as warm as she possibly can in the midst of a winter storm.
Hanna and Caleb are skiing a couple towns over in the mountains, Aria is outside with Emily, capturing photos of the white winter wonderland. Toby is a few towns over.
Or at least thatâs what she thought.Â
Someone knocks at her door. Thinking itâs probably Emily and Aria, ready to call it quits and drink up some hot chocolate, Spencer skips to the door, ready to spurt out an âI knew it,â when she sees itâs not her feezing best friends in the window, but her adorable boyfriend.
She pulls the door open, telling him to come in quickly with a smile of glee. She closes the door as  fast as she possibly  can, not willing to lose any heat to the freezing temperatures outdoors.
He goes for a hug, but she takes a step back, laughing. âYou have snow all over you. Iâm not looking to get iced over.â
He smiles, âIâm so cold, though,â he whines, his arms reaching forward, âplease come here. I need your heat.â
âTake off your clothes first,â she smirks at him.
He raises an eye brow, âWoah, I just got in the door way, Spence. I see whatâs been on your mind.â
She rolls her eyes. âIâll make us some hot chocolate,â she goes towards the kitchen.
He sheds off some of his layers, taking off his boots and gloves, before heading over to where his girlfriend is. He immediately takes her into his arms, squeezing her close and picking her feet off the ground. She giggles into him.
âI thought you werenât supposed to be home this early.â
âI wanted to surprise you,â he hums. âI love seeing that look on your face.â
âWhat look?â she looks at him.
âCatching you off your guard,â he gloats.Â
She grimaces playfully, ready to come back with something, but instead of waiting for a response, he locks their lips. He runs his freezing hands up the back of her sweater, making her shiver. She grabs onto him tighter, kissing him with more aggression.
The sound of the microwave beeping breaks them  after a couple minutes.
âThe hot chocolate is ready,â Spencer says as she nuzzles her nose against his red one.
âOh, Iâve heard it beeping for the last couple minutes, Iâve just been ignoring it.â
She laughs. âWell, if we donât drink it soon, it wonât be hot anymore.â
He smiles at her. âThen, letâsâ get to it. Got any marshmallows?â
i wrote a fic!!! omg!!! whaaaaaaaaaaaat. merry christmas :)
It was a oddly warm for December. Itâs been like this for a couple winters now. it was almost getting normal for it to be warm in December. He remembers  several years ago when the temperature reached forty below and howâd they sometimes get twenty five inches of snow in one day. This year, it has only barely snowed-- just a few snowflakes have fallen down, and Toby was able to leave his house in just a cardigan on Christmas Eve.
Itâs not that heâs ever really been into weather or anything. His dad always thought it was interesting, watching the weather channel even after viewing Rosewoodâs weather for ten day  forecast. His dad wanted to know  the  weather of every city of the world. His father didnât believe  in global warming. He  believed in âclimate changeâ. Toby disagreed, but kept his mouth shut because he already has too many disagreements with his father already.
Toby knows things change, like the climate, but itâs more than that. Climate changes  for a reason, and there is always a cause to the effect.Â
Heâs going to some Christmas party that Emily Fieldâs is hosting. Itâs been years since heâs seen her. The last time he saw her it was snowing.
He didnât mean to lose touch with Emily. He just got busy. He got a family, a wife and son. Itâs like suddenly he was this adult, with a this life he never imagined he would have.
He feels like heâs neglected Emily in a way, but she sort of neglected him too. It was just easier that way, really. But things are sort of better now. Emily moved closer to Rosewood, where he currently lives, as crazy as that sounds. Ever since she moved back to Pennsylvania, heâs seen her a few times.
He goes to the party with his wife and son. They have met Emily, but no one else. He introduces him to everyone and Toby canât help but to feel weird about it.
Heâs taking one part of his life and blending it with  another, and the transition is appearing to go well.Â
His wife, Yvonne, is getting along well with his old companions. His son, Will, is seeming to have a blast, although it doesnât take much to amuse a three year old.Â
And yet...
He walks outside on the balcony, staring up at the sky. Itâs actually a little bit chilly now that itâs going on 9 PM. He stares at the small amounts of stars he can see. The urban light is a theft of stars.
He is so lost in thought--or more so, not thinking--that he doesnât even notice Emily until she is shoving a shoulder into him.
âWhatâs on that mind of yours?â she examines him. She has this weird, happy glow about her now. It took her a long time to recover. Her time in college did her no good, especially with her fatherâs death on her shoulders. It took her years after college to finally be happy, but she eventually got there.
âNothing,â he brushes it off with a sheepish smile. âIâm just, I donât know, itâs so warm for Christmas. Do you think itâs ever going to be cold again? That we will ever see a white Christmas again?â
âMaybe,â Emily shrugs, taking a gander at the  sky. âIâm kind of getting used to it, though.â
âYou lived in California for eight years,â Toby points out with a laugh.
âTrue,â she smiles. âMaybe you need to move there, then youâll be used to it to,â she smirks.
âTrying to get rid of me?â
She nods, giggling because Emily can never accomplish being mean, even when joking. âYes, leave, please.â
Toby smiles, looking down. Then... his smile fades.
Emilyâs burrow furrows in worry. âToby, I donât think this is about not having a white Christmas.â
âItâs not,â Toby murmurs. âI guess.â
âThen what is it?â
âIâm happy with Yvonne.â
âWell, I would hope. Youâve been with her for years now. You have a child... and from the looks of it, a second, maybe? I havenât seen her pick up a glass of alcohol yet, even champagne. I mean, I know Will is here, but--â
âYouâre right,â he cuts her off, smiling at her. âShe is.â
âOh my God! Toby! Thatâs great!â she grabs him in for a hug that he doesnât fully give back to.
âYou donât exactly seemed psyched about this, Toby,â Emily voices with confusion.
âI am--I was, itâs great. I just, I donât know. Tonight...,â he  shifts his body so he isnât facing Emily, dragging a hand down his face and sighing in exhaust. âIâm seeing everyone, and itâs just...â
âItâs okay to miss her, Toby.â Emily voices.
He looks at her, frowning. He didnât want to admit it was that, but itâs that. Itâs that. Itâs that. Itâs always that.
âI feel like I shouldnât though. Itâs been years. Yvonne is my wife, the mother of my children, my best friend-- I love her. I do.â
âBut Spencer was Spencer,â Emily ruefully supplies for him, a fainted smile on her face, her brown eyes pained. Her fingers are moving anxiously together.
âYeah,â Toby breathes, looking at the sky. âI guess thatâs the perfect way to phrase it.â
âYou donât have  to feel guilty,â Emily offers, her hand covering his, her voice soft. He has destroyed that glow on her happiness momentarily.
âMaybe not for missing her but...,â he gets out, his throat closing on him a little, his words shallow and low. âItâs more than that Emily. I love Will. I love Yvonne. I am so thankful for my son. I canât imagine life without him, but... Sometimes... I wonder what could have been.â
âThatâs okay too.â
âIt doesnât feel okay, Emily,â Toby argues with a heave. âYvonne was already intimated by her when she was alive, but after she died... I just I donât get how people do this,â he bows his head down. âI love her still, I do, and I feel so horrible about that.â
âYouâre not just going to stop loving her because sheâs dead, Toby,â Emily tells him. âIt doesnât work that way.â
A few moments past. Toby breathes, looking at the stars the urban city light forgot to take. âWell, I wish it did. I donât want to love her anymore.  I just want to love Yvonne. You hear that Spencer? Let. Me. Go.â
âItâs not Spencerâs fault,â Emily sardonically laughs, defending her deceased friend.Â
âI know, I know,â Toby smiles slightly, backing away from the balcony. âI just thought Iâd give it a chance. Maybe sheâs haunting me-- making me feel this  way.â Toby slumps down seat on one of the balconyâs chairs.Â
Emily sits beside him. âI didnât know you believed in ghosts,â Emily inquires.
Toby frowns, looking over at her sadly, âI donât,â he admits.Â
Emily smiles, taking his hand again. âYvonne knows you love Spencer still, Toby. She knows, and she doesnât care. She knows you canât stop. She knows.â
Toby offers a smile of gratitude to his friend. âThanks, Em.â
âYouâre welcome, now can we go inside? Itâs getting cold.â
âCalifornia made you weak,â he pokes fun at her, smirking.
She lets go of his hand, smacking his arm instead. âStop. Iâm going inside. I suggest you follow or Iâll have to send your son out here to get you, and you know you canât say no to him,â she smiles at her friend, stepping up and straightening her winter dress.
âGive me a minute,â he responds.
She puffs out her  cheeks, glancing at the door then Toby. âFine,â she allows. âBut if itâs any longer than sixty seconds, youâll have to deal with Will.â
He laughs. âOkay. Thanks.â
Emily leaves him alone. He stands up, going to the edge of the balcony. Emily has a play set in the backyard, along with a pool, of course. In the summer he is almost sure sheâll host barbecues. This is the only beginning of mixing his former life with his present.
âMerry Christmas, Spencer. Not that I think youâd be  here, with me, anyway. If ghosts were real, youâd probably be sitting in on House Votes and hanging out in Area 51,â Toby smiles reminiscently. âBut if you are listening, Merry Christmas.â
She smiles at him, looking at the boy she adores and loves; her safe place to land, and so much more, and she isnât sure what will come between them from now to then, but itâs going to be wonderful. She hopes theyâll be together then, but if they are not, thatâs okay because they have now. Itâs all perfect and marvelous.
They are holding each otherâs hands. His warm, long fingers are linking and pressed into hers. She  wants to hold him here, in this moment, forever. She wants the world to go away; along with all their problems, and just be with him.
Sheâs so in love and being in love is such an extraordinary, incomprehensible thing that she feels so grateful for him. Â For a moment, she praises his not-so-great father and his unhealthy, dead mother fore creating such an incredible, lovely, outstanding boy she can love.Â
She looks at their laced hands and feels so much joy. She has never had anyone in her life like Toby.Â
Her parents have never been supportive, and her friends are her everything, but yet donât understand her like Toby does. She is Tobyâs most important person, and  for some reason, that fills her with this sense of purpose and fulfillment. It makes her feel like she was placed on this shitty and hellish heart for a reason; she  was put in Rosewood, with horrible things for a reason.
Toby is hers and she is his, and  she âs happy with him all the  fucking time. Her friends are her family and sisters, but Toby is her best, bestest friend.
Sheâs so happy to not only have  him as her boyfriend, but bestest, best friend.
âToby, you are my best friend,â she tells him softly, afraid if sheâll speak  to loud then the moment will be tarnished somehow.
He smiles over at her, and tells her, âyouâre mine.â
can u do something where spencer tells the girls that she lost her virginity (i know your having wifi problems so you don't have to do it)
my wifi problems are all fixed now :) finally! This takes place somewhere in the begining of 3B
hi i wrote this a long time ago & never finished but iâvâe decided to post all my snippets that are in my drafts!!!
So much has happened that she hasnât really had a chance to update her  friends on her love life. Her life just seems so arbitrary compared to the rest of the events in their life. Her love life is completely irrelevant.
If they were normal teenagers; normal best friends, her news would be the biggest in the world. Her friends would jump for joy and squeal. Theyâd gush and beg for details, but unfortunately, they do not lead a normal life. Instead, they lead one of torment and fowl.Â
Hanna is the first one she tells. Itâs the first time the opportunity arises.
Hanna and her are sitting in the car, waiting for Emily to come out. They want to take her out for ice cream. Sheâs been having a really rough time since she was forced to take Nateâs life.Â
Hanna is looking at the Cavanaughâs house, her feet on the dashboard, even though Spencer has requested multiple times that she refrain from doing that in her car. Hanna looks over at Spencer, chewing her gum. âIs Tobyâs plumbing still bad?â
Spencer nods. âYeah, he  still comes over to shower.â
Hanna glances at his house. âItâs nice he has you. He doesnât have to return to that house,â her eyes are still on the Cavanaughâs house.
âYeah,â Spencer agrees, but in all honesty, she doesnât really see it that way. How nice is it for Toby that he has her? How lucky can he possibly be? She drops the thought. âItâs nice for me too,â she adds, looking over at her friend with a smirk.
Hanna giggles. âYeah, I bet,â she voices. She meets her in the eye. âSo are you saving water or still showering alone?â Hanna inspects, playfully raising a suggestive eyebrow.
Spencer laughs. She looks straight ahead. âHeâs just showering. There is nothing else going on,â Spencer tells hers, looking back at her.Â
She frowns, her eyes downcast, her shoulders inward. âOh,â she murmurs disappointed.
Spencer takes in a deep breath. âBut,â she states. Hannaâs eyes lock on hers. The cornerâs of Spencerâs lips move into a smile. âSomething else happened.â
Hannaâs eyes widen a little, a toothless grin growing on her face. âReally?â she asks excitedly.
Spencer nods quickly. âWe had sex.â
âOh my God!â Hanna exclaims, grabbing Spencerâs hand and bringing it up and down. Sheâs smiling with an open mouth and has sparkles in her sapphire eyes. They both laugh. Spencer grabs on to her, calming the hand movements,
âWhen? Where? How was it?!â Hanna exclaims. âWas he big?â
Spencer laughs, glancing down and sighing, flushing a little. She braces to look at Hanna. âA couple days ago, in my bedroom. It hurt, but was really, really nice. And yes.â
Hanna slaps her playfully. âOh my God, I canât believe this!â she exclaims. âWho have you told? Why didnât I know the second it happened?â
âJust you, actually, and I was trying to find appropriate timing.â
Emily comes outside now. She opens the car door, taking a seat in the back. Noticing that she walked into the middle of something, Emilyâs eyebrows furrow. âWhatâs going on? Why are you both smiling?â
âNothing,â Spencer shakes her head.
âSpencer lost her virginity!â Hanna shouts giddily, smiling broadly. Spencer shoots her a soft glare.
âSpence! Is that true?â Emily smiles, her eyes set on her.

could you write a continuation of 6x02 after Toby says "why"? because that scene was incomplete to me and I'd love to see the rest of it :)
ââWhy?â
The word hangs in the air between them. Itâs strange how such a  tiny word can forebode so much trouble. Her mind feels thick; her thoughts slippery and rubbery. What he is asking is incomprehensible to her. She has no answer to give, just that itâs impossible to open up about what happened in the dollhouse.
She sighs and opens the car door, taking a seat inside. Toby sits in the driverâs seat a moment later, his eyes still wide and pondering. He still is awaiting an answer.
She shakes her head. âI just canât talk about it. I wouldnât even know what to say.â
âSay anything,â he beckons. âStart with something small.â
She breathes in through her nose. She stares at her hands. They are shaking. She links them together to stop the quivering, but itâs not enough. They still tremble. Then Tobyâs hand is on top of hers. He pacifies her trembling.
She looks up at him, her eyes locking to his. She takes in a quick breath. âI never saw the girls. The only reason I knew they were even there is because I heard their screams.  I convinced myself that it wasnât all real⌠That some of it was recordings, but honestly? I donât really know.â
His face crumples in concern and pain. He moves his arm around her, and scoots closer. His body aligns next to his. She relaxes slightly and leans into him. He runs his fingers over her hair and down her back. For a split second, she finds release, but then it quickly disintegrates. Thoughts of what happened in there restore in her mind. Sheâs still being tortured.
She clenches to him, resting her face into his shoulder. Her nose jabs into his arm. She has both arms looped around him. She begins to sob; in response, he holds her more tightly. âGod, it was so awful, Toby.â
He rubs her back and places a long, chaste  kiss to head. He keeps his lips there as her body quakes with anguish and wails. She can barely breathe. Before the dollhouse, she could hold Toby and everything would be better. When his arms were around her, she was home. But now... Now, everything has changed. There is no safe place. There is no refuge. Itâs just mass destruction turmoil, and Tobyâs been caught in the crossfire.
Itâs not his fault. Every horrible thing thatâs happened before was taken away when Toby touched her, but not anymore. Sheâs numb. She canât feel him there. Thatâs why she canât open up. Heâs not there. She canât feel or touch or see him. Sheâs still in that place, being tortured, getting her soul ripped out.
For once, he canât fix her. Itâs bigger than him.
âI donât feel relief from getting out of there,â she whispers once the sobbing ceases. She is curled up into him. She sits in between his legs, his arms encircled around her, her arms on his. His head  rests on her shoulder. âI just feel dread for the next bad thing to happen,â she mutters lowly.
The dark phrase fills in the air around them like moisture and humidity. She can feel the words press against her, making her smaller--forcing her to shrink herself. She is scared of being crushed.
âIf youâre going through hell, keep going,â Toby voices.
Spencer sucks in a breath. âWinston Churchill doesnât realize that hell is infinite,â Spencer deadpans.
Toby sighs against her, his body slumping ever so slightly behind her. He tugs her closer and presses a kiss to her temple. âYou will make it through this,â he whispers in a confident, strong tone. âAnd I will be there for every step of the way, no matter how long it takes.â
She angles her body towards him, giving him the smallest glimpse of a smile before pressing her lips to his. âThank you,â  she murmurs to him, her eyes locking on his. Really, she has never been more grateful for anything.
could you write about Spencer and toby seeing eachother for the fist time after the time jump (not being together), involving yvonne and spencers mom run for senator? p,s:sorry for the bad english
She stands there in shock. Her heart stalls. The world reverses  to a time far before this; when he was hers, and she was his. It was a time of love, but also torment. Her heart was black and decaying, but then Toby came and put the crumbled pieces back together. He was her one true love, and it was just that simple. She was so sure of their love. Theyâd be together forever, except that was false.
Suddenly her mother is speaking. She has a arm around Spencer and  is bringing her close to whisper. âThatâs Yvonne, my opponent's daughter... And is that Toby with her?â
Itâs funny how small the world is. Her life  is just one big joke. Toby has caught her eye now too. Whatever he was saying to the girl, Yvonne, comes to a pause. His mouth closes, only to reopen--his jaw hanging on the floor. He stares, wide-eyed and gaping. The papers in his hands fumble in his hand. Yvonne touches his shoulder, concerned. She follows his gaze with furrowed eyebrows and lands on Spencer and her mother.
Spencer swallows and looks away. She turns around and begins walking the other way. Her mother quickly mimics her daughterâs actions. Her mother is scolding her now. âOh, Spencer, thatâs not how you confront someone, arenât you going to at least say hello?â her mother shakes her head, using a tight, disapproving tone.
Spencer ignores her. She is a twenty-three-year-old. She does not need to listen to her motherâs demands anymore. She sincerely doubts that her mother would be  racing to greet her father if they had a chance encounter. Spencer pins her lips together, agitated. What the fuck is Toby doing in Rosewood?Â
She convinces herself she doesnât care. The opposite of love is indifference, right? But yet, she spends the rest of the afternoon pondering and fretting. How is Toby doing? What is he doing now? Who is this Yvonne to him? A new girlfriend, perhaps? The thought produces a pit in her stomach.Â
Rosewood has always been hell for her, and that hasnât changed. Of course Toby 's here. Of course she saw him.Of course seeing him brought an overwhelming surge of urgency and desire for him; what they had. Sheâs nostalgic,  thatâs it. She still hasnât found someone who loves her like he  did; she still hasnât found someone to love like she loved him.
She doesnât miss him. She just misses the feelings she got when she was with him. Thatâs it. And surely there is another man out there who can make her feel like Toby Cavanaugh did, right? There has to be someone.
When he saw her, his heart literally stopped. In fact, his whole entire body just began to crumble. His organs started to fail. His brain waves went immobile. He forgot how to work his limbs and steady himself. He would have fallen over if Yvonne, the woman he is doing carpentry work for, wasnât there to support him.Â
She was with her mother. She turned around right after he saw her. He only got a glimpse. He just got a glimpse of the person who was everything to him. He only got a peek of the person who was his entire world. Since losing her, he has been lost in the galaxy, trying to find a new world; a new home, but thereâs been nothing.
For a split second, he was taken back home. He was taken back to the planet. His hope was restored, but then it was gone. She turned around, and he remembered they are done for. The planet he thought he found once again had been destroyed a long time ago. Itâs not there anymore. He just passed a sparkling asteroid that  caught his eye, but it was gone in a quick second. There is no point of chasing after an asteroid. All asteroids do is pass by and destroy. They go too fast, they run off. They donât wait.
Spencer and he once shared something very real and intimate, but they donât anymore.Itâs been over for awhile. Itâs better that she ran off. There is no point of stretching out the hurt. He saw her pass by and will move on.
Spencer was his first love. Sometimes he  believes she will be the only love he ever truly has, but they broke up. Itâs over. Heâs accepted that.Â
Prompt: Spencer jealousy, I love when toby gets all jealous and protective, but I hardly see fics where Spencer is jealous. It could be with Yvonne, Ali, or even Emily. You decide, I'd just like to see a jealous Spencer :)
Iâm just gonna make an OC haha! Itâs easier that way. And also this takes place after 6x10, so IDK. Somewhere in the future.
They are in Tobyâs apartment. Spencer is making them pasta salad for dinner, along with a chicken. Toby is helping her, but has never been the chef of the two. He flirts with her, distracts her, and wraps his hands around her back, hugging her from behind. She keeps scolding him, telling him that heâs going to make her miss something in the recipe, but he still peppers kisses along her neckline and runs his fingers over her arms. He doesnât listen, and secretly she is glad he doesnât.
In the middle of cooking, someone knocks at the door. Toby kisses her the tip of her ear, releasing her from his hold before going to get it. Spencer glances over, curious who would be at the door.
Toby opens the door and Spencer gets a glimpse of the person. Itâs a woman. Soon more of Spencerâs attention is on the woman and Toby than the cucumbers she is cutting. She sets the knife down, not looking to cut herself open. She busies herself with another simple task so she can spy  and listen in.
âToby, God, Iâm sorry! Do you mind coming over and fixing the printer again? Iâm so clueless when it comes to technology, but I really need it fixed. I have this school thingâŚ,â the woman explains. She is tall, maybe her height or a little shorter. She has a nice, curvy body and golden, bronze skin with a blonde ombre and dark brown hair. She has an egg head and big feet, but nonetheless, sheâs pretty.Â
âHow do you break it so often?â Toby shakes his head, laughing.
âI donât know! I pressed a button and now all it will do is copy. Please, please, pretty please help.â
âOkay,â he nods, âIâll be there in a second, okay?â
âGreat! Youâre awesome. Iâll be anxiously waiting,â she smiles at him.
âDonât worry. Iâll just be a second, all right?â he assures her, smiling back.
Spencer glares at him. âToby! I need your help with something!â Spencer shouts, averting her stoic gaze to the onions.Â
âOh, are you busy?â the woman asks.
âMy girlfriend and I are cooking dinner, but sheâs the chef, not me. In fact, Iâm just being a nuisance,â he laughs. âSheâll be glad to get me out of her hair.â
The woman offers a shaky laugh. âIâm sure thatâs not true.â
âOh, it is. Iâm just going to help her with whatever she needs real quick, then Iâll be right with you,â he promises.
âOkayâŚ,â the woman offers a small smile before turning around and down the hall. Toby closes the door with a sigh, moving to Spencer.
âCut the onions,â She nods to them.
âYou donât want to cry?â he cocks his head. âYouâre giving me the dirty jobs you refuse to do?â he teases, pinching her cheek, making her grimace/frown falter. She is struggling to not smile or look at him.
He grabs the cutting board, beginning to chop the onions and tear up.
He attempts conversation, but Spencer seems frigid and short. He finishes cutting the onions, rubbing his eyes with a wet, hot rag after. He sighs after, leaving the rag in the sink and stepping to Spencerâs  side after. He envelopes a hand around her waist, kissing her temples, nudging his forehead into her temple. She angles her face toward him and he kisses her lips. She is tentative, but then breaks away and returns her stare to the noodles in the boiling water.
âWhat is it?â he asks, sighing, his arms coming off her and crossing instead. He faces her, rasing an eyebrow.
She furrows her eyebrows at him, âwhat are you talking about?â
âSomethingâs bothering you.â
âNo,â she states. âHey, arenât you supposing to be helping Ms. Tech Geek?â
He narrows his eyes, then straightens  his posture, grabbing onto the side of the countertop and smirks. âAre you jealous?â
âAre you serious?â
He laughs. âYouâre totally jealous.â
âJealous of what? Her incompetence toward basic, modern technology?â Spencer retorts.
âDonât be mean,â he scolds with a grin, his arm enveloping her again.
She rolls her eyes. âYou know, I bet she knows how to work a printer. She probably just does that to lure you in. How many times has this happened?â
âI donât know. Twice a week?â
âTwice!?â Spencer exclaims, her jaw dropping. âHow many things does she need fixed? God, Iâm surprised she hasnât asked you to fix her bed yet.â Spencer rants. Spencer changes her voice so itâs high pitch and irritating, âToby, could you come fix my shower? Oh! You just needed to turn the knob? Oops, my towel feel,â she pouts. She drapes her arms around his neck and goes on her tip toes, leaning inward. âWonât you fix that for me too?â she requests in a sad, baby voice.
He laughs before snatching her lips into his. His hands grip her body close, his open mouth pressed to hers. He kisses her deeply, lifting her off her feet, and his tongue roaming her mouth. She moans into his mouths his lips glide over hers and his tongue slides against hers.Â
He breaks away, leaving her breathless. He sets her back on her feet, leaving her wobbly and unbalanced. She holds him for support.Â
âWas that kiss enough to show you that all I want is you?â
She nods.
âCan I go help her now?â he requests.
âFine,â she sighs, âbut donât take too long,â she pouts before pulling him in for another , shorter kiss.
