PERSONALITY WISE: Vibrant, persuasive, and alluring. Sabine’s attitude somewhat mimic's cockiness, though she is far more fearless than she is confident. 

BACKGROUND:

To Sabine, family was the single most important thing. It was as true in her thirties as it had been when she was five. Admittedly, things had become much more complicated over the years. Once she had sworn her loyalty, her fealty, to her namesake, the LaRue’s. To her father, who had been the iron fist of their clan, and her mother, who was smarter, and more refined than Sabine could ever hope to be. Their hands had come together to guide Sab down the path of a successful slayer-- one who would exercise her strength and great will to cleanse the realm of mutant sickness...

AS OF 2022 SABINE HAS BEEN A GHOST FOR FOUR YEARS.

At the age of twenty-two, Sabine enrolled in a medical program at NYU. The intention had never been to complete her degree, but rather, to make the acquaintance of a young man, Nishith Malik. 

Nish belonged to a wolf pack that the LaRue’s had been hunting for decades, though in turn, the Malik’s had almost always known that they were being hunted. 

The long-con had always been the most important part of the plan, and Sabine knew, she swore she was ready for this kind of commitment. She was ready to prove to her family that she was worthy of carrying on the LaRue legacy.

Sab learned his schedules, his mannerisms, and his habits. Somehow, she’d always been where he’d intended to be, and after a few years and many ‘what are the odds?’ incidents, the conversation came easily. Nish, much to her surprise, was easy to fall in love with.

FAST FORWARD TO 2018- when, after years of procrastination and excuses, the LaRue family finally decided they had waited long enough. They wanted the Malik pack, and Sabine was out of time Her death came shortly after, killed by Nish in the ambush her family had orchestrated.

When she was alive, Sab was (almost intimately) familiar with a network of other hunters that ran through New York City. There’s a good chance that she knew people from founding families from when she was alive.

Since becoming a Ghost, she’s purposefully tried to avoid instances where she might run into other Ghosts. She’s heard horror stories about what can happen to weak spirits, and frankly she is terrified.
