hi anon! for this gifset i simply followed this amazing tutorial by @eddiediaaz! the only modification i made was to add a solid colour layer set to the 'color' blending mode on top of my paper texture to make it match the colouring of the rest of the gifset.

hey! i have some questions if you don't mind. for your "i didn't want to fall in love..." edit, could you explain how you made that glossy effect on the big text "Love" and "smile"? like it's somewhat transparent, but with colors still. also, can i know what font you used for the small text?
hi!! so i don’t remember the exact settings but my process is usually creating a text layer, set it to difference then go to blending options > color overlay and choose the color i want my text to be and set it to either color burn or linear burn, then i duplicate this layer and set it to color and i also change the blending options settings to color. the small text is avenir (8px, strong).

hey! um just wanted to ask, how did you achieve the yellow background in the last gif of the "Luke Appreciation: Edge of Great" set? just wondering bc i usually use a layer mask for that but he's kinda moving in the gif? (so sorry to bother you)
hey, you’re not bothering me at all!! actually i used a layer mask too, with a big soft brush, i think i set it at like 400px, i don’t remember the exact settings rn, i’m sorry! but if it can help these are the settings i used for the background: the bottom layer is set to normal with 100% opacity while the top layer is set to normal with 40% opacity

hi! thank you so much 🥰 okay so you need to go to shapes > rectangle tool, i used these settings:
go to the shape's layer and lower the fill at 0%, then to achieve the gradient go to blending options > stroke
(these are the settings i used for another gifset)
and set the layer to difference.
