Dearest Roo,
HAPPY MAY THE 4TH! How perfect is the timing of our little girl, coming into the world just before May 4th. Our first May the 4th with our Rey. While we named her based on where she was conceived, her name is so fitting because she's one tough little lady. She's a fighter, just like the character she's named after.
I figured this year's Star Wars Day gifts would be more centered around the theme of the very character our girl is named after. While I'm devastated you have to leave us tomorrow for work, I'm glad we get to spend this day together and soak up every bit of family time on one of your favorite days. And now you have a new mug for your coffee and a new bag to travel with/take to set. (Pretty sure this is added to your collection of Star Wars cups/mugs and Love Island water bottles I've given you lol). This Rey plushie won't even begin to compare to our Rey's cuddles but I hope she brings a smile to your face while you're filming, darling.
I know you're going to say I didn't need to do anything and I don't need to plan anything for today, that I need to rest but I promise this was all planned before last week. And I promise my plans include loads of resting. Today we're going to just snuggle and watch your favorite Star Wars films with Star Wars themed snacks. (Delivered, of course).
