What was your canon like? I'd love to hear more of your memories and who you were close to. Is there anyone you regret not getting to know better in your past life, and anyone you look forward to meeting in this life?
Hello! I haven’t had many opportunities to talk about memories in detail, so I don’t know how much I can remember off the top of my head, but let’s see.
One thing I should note about the world I remember is the relationship between a nation and its nation representation (I’m honestly not sure of the word we used for ourselves, but that’ll do for now). We were influenced so much by popular opinion that our free will was thrown into question. We ignored it in public, but in private I’d be quietly fretting about how much of what we felt was truly ‘our’ feelings, and how much was the combined feelings of a nation, and if it even mattered…You went through phases of freaking out about it, then phases of just utterly, absolutely not giving a shit.
And it’s hard to remember everyone I’ve been close to, or regretted not being close to - it varied over a millennium or so, and if you think 20-odd years of memory is hard to keep track of, imagine 1000+. I mean…I have lots of scattered memories set in America, but I’d just blame that on the fact I’m living in an old colonial town. And god, I’d go on forever but I’ve already gone far over my rambling limit in this post, so feel free to ask me more!
