I feel this night turning into a Bad Night and I should probably go to sleep before I start hating myself again but I really need to do this work I forgot about that is due first thing tomorrow. do you see my dilemma

This episode absolutely had its flaws, and so has the season as a whole (the last few seasons, let's be real), but I think my biggest pet peeve is people reducing everything to "repeating the same plotline." Because yeah, some points could be more original. But also, if you have to boil something down to its absolute most basic to be able to claim it's "the same," then. well. I don't actually think it's the same then.

Please be extra gentle and understanding with me if we talk in the next couple of days. The brain gremlins are extra active due to recent events and things are really hard right now
