Hope
I always tell myself: Be hopeful. In everything.
And that pretty much build the so-called faith from within for every step that I take, either by running, walking or even scampering along with friends, family, strangers. That's how I scrape through life, as me.
A friend shared to me that he doesn't believe in hopes. I at first struck by his words. However, upon close scrutiny, I felt for him. Was it his 'former' life that made him feel cheated by hopes? Or what about his family background? And why on earth am I letting my blur mind to ponder about this?
I hoped for good things in life. I hoped for miracles even. But, these hopes really came out; practically nothing. Little that I knew that those good things that I once hoped for really happened. When? How? They happened all the time. Through the process of surrendering everything in God's hands, and never giving up. Correspondingly, miracles happened. I became stronger, and stronger and even strongest when tough times struck.
Because I hoped. And I hope.
To my friend, I'm all ears. I'm glad to help. I'll do whatever it takes, to make you hope again. Though I don't always get what you feel. Nonetheless, let's grow beside each other.
Like I said, it doesn't matter if you are hopeless, as long as I'm still breathing, yeah, count on me, I'll be hopeful for you.
Be hopeful, Broda!
