The pack are sick and tired of Stiles and Derek dancing around each other. Deciding enough is enough, they convince Stiles and Derek that in order to catch the latest big bad threatening Beacon Hills, they have to go undercover as a couple on holiday at the beach. Maybe by forcing them to spend time together, they’ll finally pull their heads out of their asses and admit their not-so-platonic feelings for each other.

Sterek AU: Little Red Riding Hood

In the small village of Beacon Hills, people are being maimed and killed by a terrifying wolf. When Stiles Stilinski falls in love with Derek Hale, the worst thing he could think of stopping them from being together is their families. He had no idea that what could be holding back their happily ever after was Derek being the werewolf maiming and killing innocent people. But the more Stiles falls in love with Derek, the harder it is for him to believe that Derek could be the Big Bad Wolf.

“I’m incredibly nervous, but I’m just gonna go ahead and say it because—” Stiles shakes his head hard. “Right. You don’t need the list,” he mutters, before straightening up and fixing his gaze on Derek.

“What is it?” Derek asks, worrying as Stiles’ scent clouds with nerves.

“I like you.”

Derek blinks, blindsided by how fiercely joy rises in him. He feels his wolf pressing against his skin, acknowledging Stiles’ words. His eyes flash blue before Derek can stop it.

Stiles starts fidgeting. The hopeful little smile sliding off his face before Derek can figure out how to reply. There’s so much he’s been waiting to confess. Derek’s felt their connection from the first day—when he followed the scent of a new wolf only to come across that of his mate—but their relationship was unsustained and lived on rocky foundations for months after that. Then it got better. They got closer. Stiles was still young and Derek was still healing but when Derek was with Stiles, he felt like himself. He’s been happy to wait for Stiles and thought he would be for longer. He hasn’t had the time to figure out what actually being together would mean.

By the time Derek’s thoughts draw themselves back to the present, Stiles is almost at the door. Leaving.

“Stiles. Don’t go.”
