PARTITION - BEYONCE (DANCE COVER/DANCE OFF)
moving to the rhythm, drop the beat!
partition please.
confidence shines brightly from her flow but she’s never been able to showcase her talents in a huge crowd. in the streets of hongdae, sakura has accepted a dance challenge! which is a rare case as she’s hesitant to show off what she has to put on the table as she acknowledges that she does need some more work on certain areas before she could say she’s proud of what she’s done. nevertheless, isn’t it about having fun without fearing others’ opinions? she might be a friendly flower but she shouldn’t have to feel uncomfortable with her own skin. she is who she is!
the choreography isn’t a forgettable one, sakura has practised moving to the melody of the song for a couple of weeks now. she’s learned it from start to finish. at least, it’s not a whole song and just a mere snippet. the young girl doesn’t doubt that the girls next to her are better dancers than her but she’s managed to keep up, not to keen on holding onto worry as that’ll only make her more anxious! to upkeep her goal as triple threat, she has to practice singing, dancing, and rapping a lot. so honestly, it’s easier said than done to stay along the lines of consistency. going from one musical entertainment skill is all about experimenting but can also be deprived of vitality.
but she focuses on the energy that she has, powerful foot movements and strong dynamics of rotation between her and the girls. luckily for her, sakura isn’t in the center of the stage. she’s got her friendly smile complimenting her angelic aura that’s yet to wilt while moving her body until the song’s done. as the song stops, she bows politely with the other girls and takes off to go home as she’s got a good pile of homework to tend to.
