Stop taking posts about female genital mutilation and making them about circumcision when it's about a specific case or cases. I'm against infant circumcision. It is also genital mutilation. But you know, my priorities right now are preventing more children being mutilated, not selectively bringing circumcision up as a trump card to shut down conversations. People who do that don't care about children. They want to see more children suffer, both girls and boys, so they can throw it in people's faces later and say "See? Look how bad it was for boys!!" I've never seen any of these posts be productive. They just become a pit of whining about which mutilated child has it worse and never actually return to discussing how to prevent the rise of female genital mutilation in the United States. They do jack shit and that pisses me off.
