Call was at 12:10 and my alarm didn't go off and then someone came into my room at 12:40 and woke me up and apparently everyone at forbes was REALLY worried I'd like died or was sick or something happened to me last night and so the of the other props girls called my roommate and my roommate called someone that was in the dorm and came and woke me up and so i called back one of the asm's (because i had like 15 missed texts and 10 missed calls from people trying to get ahold of me for half an hour) and she borrowed one of the actor's cars and came and got me so i literally had like 5 minutes to get ready and it was stressful and i felt really guilty about it but i got there and was like still shaking from being so freaked out about it and talked to the stage manager and apologized about 18 million times and she told me not to worry about it but i felt soooo bad about it. But I got there at like 12:50 and the show was at 2 so i still had time to do all my stuff

today's matinee was the closing show and it went really really well and everyone had such a good time

between the show and strike we had 20 minutes to eat 2 slices of pizza and chance

strike started at 4:40 and went until 9:30

yes that is right

a f i v e hour strike

it was fun at first when we were all high energy and got to hit a bunch of stuff with hammers and break everything down.

it got less fun as we all got exhausted and bored

5 hours is a lot of time to essentially just be carrying heavy things 

i am a weakling so literally everything was too heavy for me to carry but I did it anyway because I didn't want to act like some pretentious little shit but now i'm really sore like EVERYWHERE.

i have scratches and cuts all up and down my arms from carrying large pieces of wood

also bruises

but most impressively i have a HUGE bruise that runs down like a third of my thigh from where someone accidentally dropped a steel grate without warning me and it slide down my leg and the bruise is just really really impressive but I won't post it because ewww

the crew walked defeated and exhaustedly to dinner and ate a lot and then slumped back to theirs dorms

my roommate was watching the oscars and that's pretty much the only reason i am not asleep

it's supposed to snow like 10 inches tonight and if my goddamn university does not cancel classes i am going to be so angry because i am so sore and so tired i could sleep for a week and be totally unapologetic about it. everywhere at home in canceled and i am saaaad
