Been doing some studies of Tove Jansson's wonderful illustrations! Me and my brother loved the Moomintroll books as children, most of these books are ones we had back then and the one in the top left is a collectors edition my mum got me for Christmas last year! Hit me up if you want to know which books any of these illustrations came from or if you just want to chat about Moomintroll!
Currently reading ‘Mapping Mars’ by Oliver Morton, at the same time as we're having a few lectures on Mars in my glaciers module! The book is really interesting and I’m learning a lot about the history of Mars research while also learning some of the more recent stuff in lectures which is super exciting. There’s a huge amount of freely available information on the internet about Mars, we have very high quality Digital Elevation Models available for free which is...pretty amazing, and you can even look at Mars using Google Earth!
