The man was new, and obviously not looking forward to speaking with Charles. When he saw Erik lingering behind him, he decided to direct the new teacher to Emma’s office without reading or questioning him. It was unusual, but he didn’t have the energy to deal with newcomers today. After the other mutant left, Charles smiled at Erik and invited him into the office instead.
Once the door was closed, Charles sighed and dropped the professionalism. “The day has barely started and I’m already tired.” he joked before offering his friend a seat. @cfmagneto
