COOPSKI POTATOES

           Coop wrests the shower curtain out of other hands and pulls            it across his midsection. For a few seconds, the water just            kinda patters on down during the silence, as if nothing had            ever happened. Then he clears his throat, blinking soap out           of his eyes. Inefficiently mumbles: "Shower's busy."

                    "                      we fell in love."

              he kisses them,   and that's a some-thing,  a little close               and near,  the fingers of his free hand finding purchase              on the curve of their neck.       he doesn't stay too long,               doesn't drag out the act,        lets go one part at a time:               mouth,   hand on bicep,   hand on neck,   until he's just              looking at kennedy like he's very  pleased  with himself,               which is, of course, because he is.
