Itâs not widely known-- but the florist has gone through a very recent break-up, and being the sentimental attached sort of person that he is at heart, itâs been a process to pick up the pieces and become whole again. When you want something so badly to work so you can be happy with somebody, but things donât go as planned.. Itâs rough on a person.

Inexperienced, but not. Kyungsoo isnât sure if heâs ever been treated right. Not in the abusive sort of way you see on television and films. Rather, whatâs it like to be left ___ amount of times after opening up and giving your all to somebody? And while on  the subject, does he even know for sure if he prefers one gender more than the other, or is it just a certain type of personality heâs drawn to? For now, his romantic preference is garlic bread and bad horror films.
Shopping carts really need blinkers. That way Kyungsoo can figure out where this person is planning on going. Also, why are they walking so slow? Okayâ so now theyâve stopped dead in the center of the aisle just to text on their smartphone. At this point, the florist gives up, wheels his cart around in a mini U-turn, and retreats to a different aisle. Sometimes, just going to the grocery store feels like a job. The people thereâ whether theyâre slow, or screaming at their kids in public, or acting like they own the placeâ itâs got him so annoyed that he wants to itch his skin off. He supposes early-morning shopping when itâs nearly empty is best, but.. Sometimes, you just have to deal with the people.Â
The clattering of pots and pans, the nostalgic sound of a crisp vegetable being chopped on a cutting board, the sizzle of something simmering away over the fire-- the lulling bubble of a boiling pot. Cooking soothes Kyungsoo in a way that not much else can-- aside from tending to his garden. The boy is obsessed with the idea of taking different things and putting them together to make something new. Occasionally, if the florist has some time off, heâll spend it by researching a new recipe and spending the entire day making it.
If heâs got somebody to cook for, that just.. Makes it even better.
     Kyungsoo is, at heart, docile. He doesnât let a whole lot rile him up. Thereâs just a few select things that will make the florist get uppity-- and one surefire thing to do this is when heâs spotted a dog locked in a hot car. All he wants to do is break the window and let the dog out-- maybe steal the dog (haha.) Especially during the summer time, when people seem  to forget that cars turn into literal ovens and their furry companions can pass out (and pass away) even during the shortest of shopping trips or promises of âIâm just going to run in and grab  one thing!â I suppose the same thing goes for children, but.. Dogs are better than babies. Right? Right?

You have a fever.â Naturally, the other didnât want to. Flu medicine in liquid form.. Hell, it was like taking a shot of dish soap mixed with artificial cherry flavoring. It didnât taste edible. It didnât even smell edible. But Kyungsoo is determined, and as he steps closer, Alex sort of.. Freaks out, popping the little plastic cup out of  the floristâs hands and sending the medicine right down the front of his shirt. And thatâs when the shorter really loses his patience. He grabs the entire bottle and flings himself at Alex-- and they crash to the floor, and Kyungsoo uses his knees to pin the otherâs arms down, the look on his face menacing as he unscrews the cap off of the medicine bottle.
Kyungsoo suggests it after a long while-- but Anthem is the one who actually makes it happen, which completely takes the smaller by surprise.
â„Who stressed more over wedding planning:
The wedding ends up being a tiny, intimate affair. Something in the forest-- maybe shoes are just an option today, and neither of them were mentally taxed over the event. Maybe Kyungsoo was stressed out over his vows, but.. Things worked out in the end, right?
â„Who decorated the house:
A joint effort, but Kyungsooâs affinity for eclectic coziness wins in the end.

Anthem. Heâs constantly reminding Kyungsoo to tidy up his supplies-- sometimes heâs kind about it, but sometimes itâs like heâs scolding a lazy child. You try keeping your patience after tripping over the same garden tool four times in a row and see how that works out for you.

Admittedly, the florist is feisty and the prince is too handsome to get away unscathed.

Neither. Kyungsoo would like more pets-- but Anthem is wary of dogs, and swears Kyungsooâs cat is already out to get him.

Kyungsoo is needy and affectionate, often relying on hands-on affection to feel significant and treasured.

Kyungsoo has an affinity for nature-- and he often drags Anthem out for day-long hikes when the weather is nice enough. The idea didnât interest the taller at first, until he was promised hand-made lunches in return.

When a spider finds its way into their house, if Anthem is the first one to find it-- Heâll stop, casually turn around, and go fetch Soo. And promptly stay standing safely behind Soo while the little one diligently traps the 8-legged beastie in a tupperware and transports it outside. Teamwork is important.. If you can call it that.
