CONFIRMED! Spiced subunit set to release a Christmas special, followed by an entire group comeback!

Spektrum, the beloved first subunit of Spiced, is set to release a Christmas special album some time in the next few days; it will be followed up almost directly by a group comeback. We caught up with their head PD, and she confirmed that both projects are something the girls have been working on for the last few months and are finally ready to share with their fans. The Christmas special album is said to include solo tracks by all three girls, as well as a surprise collaboration with another group, and even multiple videos. They will be promoting their title track, which is still currently unknown, for around two weeks. After those promotions end the girls will continue on with their finishing touches for their group comeback album before releasing in late December or early January. This will be Spektrum’s first release in nearly a year and a half, and Spiced’s first release in roughly a year.

In the midst of Spetrum and Spiced releases, member Gemi has also been confirmed for a solo release. This project, THREE, has multiple parts to it, and fans are currently awaiting the arrival of the first part which could be here at any day. It was never confirmed on whether or not she was set to promote any of it on music shows. Still, it’s surprising to see why the company would allow the group’s leader to take on so many tasks in such a short span of time, especially after multiple hospitalizations of exhaustion and dehydration from overworking herself in the past. Whatever the reason, we wish the best for all five members, and their health in the upcoming weeks.
