* PLANKING
ahyoung is honestly so tired of this choreography. she knows she's not the best dancer, especially not a good kpop dancer. she's learned the choreography to a couple kpop song choruses in her day just for fun, but otherwise, she has never done well with anyone trying to teach her anything. she should probably put more of an effort in to actually learning. maybe then she'd remember the steps more and not get yelled at again. okay, okay, fine, she'll try harder tomorrow.
today, though? "enough, enough!" she declares, part of the way into some mandatory individual practice time alongside yuwol, of all people. it's so bizarre that most of her band, that's classified, ended up auditioning for next gen and making it on without any of the others knowing. good for them. she's not sure why yuwol is here, but she's pretty sure yejun actually wants to do this, so she hopes he does well. for as much of an asshole as she is to yejun, he's pretty much the human version of eeyore from winnie the pooh; she just wants to see something go right for him.
"i'm putting a random song on and dancing to that. that's still practice, right?" she asks, a rhetorical question she doesn't care about the answer to. "you should dance to it too," she says, looking to yuwol. "you look like the plank from ed edd n eddy when you dance." she's not afraid to say it. ahyoung isn't afraid of anything. she ends up laughing, though. "do you know what that is?" the cartoon is honestly before her time, but she saw an episode of it on cartoon network at 3 am back when she lived in california and her brain always stores away future joke fodder above all else. would be great if it stored away more of do better's choreography.
