𝖆𝖋𝖙𝖊𝖗   𝖈𝖆𝖙𝖈𝖍𝖎𝖓𝖌   𝖚𝖕   𝖈𝖔𝖒𝖕𝖑𝖊𝖙𝖊𝖑𝖞   𝖜𝖎𝖙𝖍   𝖙𝖍𝖊   𝖒𝖆𝖓𝖌𝖆   ,   i   have   decided   that   i   will   continue   to   write   ciel   as   if   he   were   a   twin   ;   while   there   is   plenty   of   debate   regarding   the   twin   theory   &   how   it’s   been   implemented   into   the   story   ,   i   do   think   that   the   existence   of   ciel’s   brother   (   ciel   prime   ,   or   ciel’   as   i   will   write   from   now   )   impacted   the   way   ciel   views   the   world                        namely   how   he   refuses   to   accept   love   ,   kindness   ,   or   help   from   others.   the   guilt   of   losing   ciel’   causes   him   to   feel   unworthy   &   undeserving                            and   the   years   of   sickness   &   inability   to   exert   himself   too   heavily   as   a   child   acts   as   motivation   for   ciel   to   work   ten   times   harder   now.   i   do   believe   that   the   character   growth   that   is   implied   by   the   existence   of   ciel’   is   a   cornerstone   to   how   ciel   perceives   himself   &   the   world   around   him.   this   blog   is   canon   compliant   in   regards   to   ciel’   being   sacrificed   inadvertently   to   summon   sebastian   ,   as   well   as   compliant   with   the   fact   that   ciel   was   ill   as   a   child.

however                            this   blog   will   diverge   from   the   bizarre   doll   arc   for   now.   this   means   that   this   blog   will   not   comply   with   the   return   of   ciel’   prime   as   a   bizarre   doll   created   by   the   undertaker   ,   nor   will   ciel   being   framed   for   blood   collection   &   fraud   be   present.   instead   ,   ciel’   prime   did   indeed   die   when   sacrificed   to   summon   sebastian   &   was   never   resuscitated.   this   also   means   that   the   undertaker’s   connection   with   the   phantomhives   is   still   largely   unknown   to   ciel                        though   this   is   subject   to   change   if   i   am   to   plot   with   an   undertaker   blog   or   with   further   updates   to   canon   as   chapters   release.   as   this   blog’s   main   verse   is   set   6   years   in   the   future   (   with   ciel   being   19   years   of   age   )   it   is   important   to   consider   that   he   has   not   let   it   slip   that   he   has   a   twin.   the   only   ones   who   would   know   are   tanaka   ,   sebastian   ,   lizzie   (   though   she   is   unaware   that   this   is   not   ciel’   )   and   the   undertaker,   himself.
