juzo was the victim of pretty harsh bullying growing up because of his appearance. he’s pretty good at acting unaffected at negative comments on his appearance since he’s been doing it for a while, but he still does have some pretty deep seated insecurities about it, and he doesn’t really like how he looks.
a big sore spot is the fact that he was told a lot that he looked too frightening to be a hero that people would like, and while it discouraged him from pursuing being a hero at first, he slowly picked it up as a motivation, and tries to keep it in that sort of light instead of lingering on the negative feelings surrounding it.
