alright. so i got a $50 parking ticket this morning. instead of walking like normal, i drove to class because i am really sick & the temperature is below freezing ( i can’t miss anymore classes, or trust me i would ). for reference, my house is on the very perimeter of campus, making it very far away from all other points of civilization. and, due to construction that was supposed to have ended in september, i have to take even longer detour routes should i wish to walk anywhere on the main part of campus. unfortunately, there was ( apparently ) zero student parking near the building my class was in. i say apparently, because i thought i was parked in a safe zone. the lot i parked in is the only available parking near a group of several campus buildings, i have parked there before, & i frequently see other students doing the same. but obviously my ticket says otherwise. 

i wouldn’t ask if i wasn’t desperate. i only make $80 every three weeks, my last paycheck was less than that & my next will be too, and i fr just don’t have the money to pay this ticket, buy gas to make it home for thanksgiving break, & buy gas to make it back to school come monday. 

if anyone can help me off-set these costs even just a little bit, i’d really appreciate it. i am in such a jam right now, all because my school hates accessibility, sick students, & honestly just disabled people in general.
