This is something I've seen a couple places and I love the idea so much. A Nate who knows every sound in a hospital, tracks them instinctively. Who can tell whether your heart rate's normal just from the beep of the moniter. Who knows what the emergency is and how severe just by the alarms. The implied history of it. A hospital wasn’t just where he spent the worst day of his life, it was also where he lived a lot of it. And I mean Nate would never spend time in a place and not, even accidentally, learn everything he could from it. He can’t just turn that off.
