Okay but what if weddings -- not marriage but actual wedding ceremonies -- were a thing on Alternia?
Like, two trolls deciding that their love/rivalry is so great they want everyone to know about it and make an event of it? It's mostly a highblood thing, and seadwellers and purples in particular (especially if they're clowns) like to go all out making it a big spectacle. They gather all their friends and signmates if they have any, rent out a huge expensive venue and caterers, and they have their moirails act as best man/maid of honor. The proposals are usually really public and extravagant, but nowhere near as much as the wedding itself.
It's mostly acceptable for trolls within the same social standing. Something like a highblood and a midblood might be looked at funny, but a highblood and a lowblood having a wedding is cause for a lot of negativity and gossip.
Anyone of any caste or social standing can have a wedding, naturally. Lowblood weddings tend to be simple and focus more on the couple and the emotional significance while highblood weddings are mostly about the glitz and glam and showing off.
Glass can absolutely puke honey... They have another form where they're a cute honey bee... Oml. What if they looked like a honey bee sometimes? @1-800-roflmao
I just wanted to say this, You said before that slim likes sewing really cute things, I have this idea that he likes cute things in general like; he likes to pet/take care of laser dog and/or the temmies or he'll ask other monsters if he could hold their baby or have a secret stash of stuff animals in the shed I don't know I just see him that way!

Random ass headcanon: Seadwellers generally have less body hair (sometimes even no body hair) than land dwelling trolls. It's not unheard of for a seadweller to be hairy, but it's uncommon

Random restaurant headcanons:
Fast food and diners are almost exclusively aimed at lowbloods. It's definitely not healthy, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired, and the cleanliness is dubious at best, but it's affordable, quick, and tastes good. Definitely not something any self-respecting highblood should be caught dead eating. Employees are almost solely lowbloods and anons, though rarely there will be midbloods working there. As long as your bits are covered and you have shoes on, no one cares.
Sit-down restaurants (think on the same tier as Olive Garden or Chili's) are marketed more toward midbloods. Staff tends to be an even mix of lowbloods and midbloods, but you will almost never see a lowblood owner or manager. The cleanliness is up to code and the food is delicious, if a little overpriced. Not somewhere you're expected to dress up or look particularly nice, but it wouldn't be out of place to do so.
Upscale gourmet restaurants are exclusively advertised to highbloods, and the vast majority won't even let midbloods in unless they're being accompanied by a highblood. A highblood could technically bring a lowblood with them, but they will noticeably be treated less well than the other patrons. The cleanliness is immaculate, the atmosphere is rich, and the food is too die for (though the portions are smaller for what you're paying). Servers and cooks are almost always midbloods with the rare lowblood or two. Definitely have to bring your A-game in terms of dress code. It doesn't have to be especially formal, but you should dress better than normal.
The most expensive and luxurious restaurants are nearly always seadwellers only. Non-seadweller highbloods can be allowed in if they're accompanying a royal, but absolutely no one below cobalt allowed, not even as an employee. Fish and seafood are only served here and exclusively for seadwellers. The prices are absolutely ridiculous, and the portions are tiny. However, the type of people who dine there do so for the atmosphere and status, not the food. Dressing well is absolutely necessary; either dress in your best formal wear or don't even bother showing up.
I like to imagine that being a hired killer is a common profession on Alternia. Want someone dead but lack the means to do it yourself or have too much to lose by getting your hands dirty? They got you covered.
I also like to think that being a contract killer affords a little leniency if they get arrested. You wouldn't arrest a gun, would you? Same with them. They're just doing their job; the one who's in actual trouble is whoever hired them.
They're still going to face consequences if whoever they were paid to kill was someone really important, though, and there's always the risk of vengeful friends or quads, but that's why you don't get caught.
