A good ways away from human society, a harpy lurked high up in the trees. Hidden from view in the shadow of the canopy, he waits, unmoving.
Just like their eagle counterparts, harpies too could stay still in one spot for long periods of time, waiting for prey. And well, all good things come to those who wait. As his keen eyes spy a boar, seemingly fleeing from something.
Between the first blink and the next, he's diving down, talons sinking into it’s thick hide, lifting it back into the air. Halfway back up the sky in the span of a full breath.

Traveling through the underbrush was tricky, with the forest being much denser than many he had to travel, but the cover was good. Good enough for Dabi to go hunting in his shifted form, only knocking down the occasional tree. The damage was minimised, yes, but not unavoidable.
Though he was unsure as to if his need for eating was taken in the process of gaining his power, he still had an appetite. A lingering need to eat, taking much more than he originally was used to in order to keep him satiated.
As he tracked the boar, he was barrelling through the forest, trying to keep up while also not losing his footing. But the one moment his glanced away due to a snapping branch, the boar was gone.
