It's been two years now. Two years of wandering, praying, hoping that she would eventually be able to find the person that killed her. It was fruitless of course, even the police had given up hope. The only person still attempting to do anything was her poor brother who had come over from Spain and worked his fingers to the bone to make ends meet just so he could continue the search. She'd tried to show herself to him several times, but she couldn't make him see her. She wasn't sure why either.
Now she was at the place where it happened, leaning in the alley and staring at that part of the sidewalk that was still stained. The very spot that she laid dead in for nearly three hours before anyone found her or her roommate. She watched the people, hoping that just maybe she'd be able to recognize the face of the person. Murderers usually always went back to the scene of the crime, especially if they didn't get caught. The chances were slim of course, but she had to try. "What are you wearing?" She said, shaking her head at a girl that was wearing practically nothing to make her way to the front of the line. "What is the point in wearing anything at all?" Of course, she could hold conversations like this because the living couldn't see her, so it did not harm in talking about them right? "Americans," she muttered softly, turning to watch someone pass her, a girl that had her own sense of style. "Well, at least she looks cute and dresses fun."
