When I finally learned how to read English properly, a lot of things lost their appeal to me (mostly songs I used to listen to as a kid). Their meaning stopped being meaningless - it just wasn’t so funny anymore. That’s why I started listening to more songs in other languages, expanding my music library, experimenting with other genres. At the same time checking lyrics translation become like a second nature to me if I stumble upon some song worth keeping. I chose this certain song to slightly make fun of people who like certain songs and willingly sing them to the whole world to hear, but at the same time don’t know what they’re singing about (or choose not to).
