          “  GOOD .  ”    and  jake  kisses  him  despite  being  breathless ,  hands  snug  on  rich’s  hips ,  head  tilted  as  he  hooks  his  pointer  fingers  into  the  loops  on  rich’s  jeans ,  pulling  him  closer .   he  pulls  away  to  peer  around  the  corner ,  laughing  softly ,  “  they’re  not  coming  for  us ,  we’re  good .  ”   and  to  think  that  being  followed  had  made  him  so  paranoid  when  he  was  younger ,  jake  dismisses  the  fears  of  his  past  self  with  a  wave  of  his  hand ,  that  same  hand  that  crawls  inside  of  rich’s  shirt ,  hand  tracing  the  hard  lines  of  his  frame ,  jake  kisses  rich  like  he’s  oxygen ,  still  laughing .   “   hey -  hey !   love  you .  ”
