Perhaps that was too deep of a comment for what was suppose to be a casual conversation between a good friend and himself? Maybe he should apologize and back-- No. He was ‘the Cerwyn’, and a Flint at that, he could spin this in a way that it wouldn’t be awkward. He’s tasted the cold clutches of battle, correctly conveying his words didn’t... didn’t seem that difficult anymore.
“What I mean is: You’ve seen much, and have accomplished quite a bit since the last time we’ve spoken. For better or worse, you’ve changed as a person, and the focus in your eyes convey such. You’ve surpass the hardships that once plagued you, and because of such, you’ve become profound”. Cley’s voice was considerate, and had a sense of better experience behind it. He knew of what Gwyn had to go through for peace to be achieved... sacrifice.
