Extroverted (69%) ;how we interact with our environment

This all depends on the situation. Hanbin’s known to be semi-selective when it comes to interacting on a friendly basis. He’s not typically one to want many new friends or enjoys meeting too many new people. This was made known during the broadcast of “Mix & Match” when three possible members were added to the competition. Although, he’s somewhat broken from that shell, considering he’s in an industry where meeting new people is a daily routine. He thrives from the feeling of being with his fans and being on stage (this has been expressed in several interviews), which is where I see the extrovert being more so apart of his personality than introvert.

Intuitive (57%) ;where we direct our mental energy

I think being intuitive kind of came with earning the role of being iKON’s leader. I believe that’s a quality that every leader needs to possess and I do agree that Hanbin is intuitive. He’s had to make calls for not just himself but also for his team where he’s had to rely on his gut feeling as to prepare for any possible outcome. He’s very confident in the decisions he makes and believes strongly that if he feels it’s right it will be exactly that. It’s a trait that seems to come naturally for him.

Thinking (58%)   ;make decisions and cope with emotions

Although Hanbin’s emotions can sometimes grab the better of him, for the sack of being a good leader for his team he focuses on the rational side before making a decision that could affect all of them. As the leader, Hanbin runs a lot of their practices and has often been a main choreographer behind their performances (especially during trainee days - WIN: Who Is Next - Mix & Match) and has to make decisions on who goes where and what moves can and can’t be executed correctly and safety.

Hanbin’s a hard-ass when it comes to working/practicing. As revealed by members in their ‘Pops in Seoul’ interview, Hanbin has relaxed somewhat from when they were all trainees. He’s a person who believes in a routine, a set plan in order to reach what goals have been set. He’s someone who gets easily bored with himself if there is nothing to work towards. He enjoys having goals, having something to push towards. Creating a step-by-step plan, even if it’s just in his head, he likes to know how he can get there and spends the necessary time achieving it. There’s a thought process to everything he does as his decisions as iKON’s leader affect all of them.

Assertive (63%) ;how confident we are in our abilities and decisions

The room was filled with tension. It was cold and dark and it all radiated from him. His team, these six innocent boys, were collateral damage. Scattered within the main areas of their dorm they didn’t dare to speak a word in his direction. They knew he needed time, he needed to be alone and although they knew he was emotionally tough the look of pity in their eyes when they looked at him was evident. 

The past three years he’d been working his ass off to get here. His blood, sweat and tears poured into every practice. His passion, his drive...neither went unnoticed nor unrewarded. Yet here he was...tired, beaten, and lost. 

Kim Hanbin sat alone in his room, forehead pressed into the sweaty palms of his hands hoping to relieve the headache pounding at his temples. There were too many thoughts inside his head. Shouldn’t he be able to rest now? iKON has been set. The cruel competition was over and he now has his six brothers ready to taste their debut. It’s so close. 

But every time he tries to remove the pressure from his shoulders it finds it’s way back on top of him. 

            “Hanbin-ah...” He could hear his Mother’s shaking voice through the phone as if the conversation was happening all over again.                                 “...your Father is in a little trouble right now.” 

That was it; that reminder, that memory. That’s all it took for those tears to fall. There was no stopping them this time. No matter how strong of a wall he built, no matter how hard he tried he couldn’t conceal the frustration anymore. 

When would it be his turn to be happy? When was he able to rest? Everything he did was for his team, for his family...and for his pride. He loved what he did. He’d do it all again. But why did it have to be so painful? Why did it have to take so much out of him? Those teenage years were swept from him. He couldn’t be just any regular 18 year old. He couldn’t even be a normal 15 year old. 13? Even then he needed to grow up faster than most. His life was dedicated to this industry, to his label, to his team. Nights were spent locked up in a practice room or a studio, striving for perfection. Thousands of papers covered in ink kept him from sleeping in his own bed. His mind, his body and his heart were consumed with training. 

No one could see him like this. He wouldn’t let that happen. He needed to be strong, that’s who he is.
