The weather was finally closer to how home used to be. Heine could finally wear more than just one shirt due to the heat, and so he nestled himself on a bench to take it in. The sky was nicely clouded, and the cold was barely registering to him as he just reveled in the familiarity of the weather.
“Almost could pretend that shitty tower is in the distance.”
Nice and familiar, and Heine felt some tension ease out of his shoulders with it all. The tower may be a shit to see, and he would forever hate it for the memories associated with it, but that didn’t mean that he’d forever refuse the familiar.
