To be clear, I’m not dead and neither is this blog, this is just a period of extremely low activity because of several real life things.

Namely, my job offer fell through unfortunately, and then shortly afterward it was announced that my mother might be laid off in the near future. (Within the next year.) There’s no confirmation there, but needless to say because of it we’ve both been pretty stressed and we’re both looking at other job prospects and opportunities. That’s been eating a lot of time, honestly, and that’s a large part of why I’ve been inactive. After a day full of reworking resumes I’m honestly just kind of beat. I’ve been adjusting my budget and updating my commission information in preparation to do an emergency commission sale and hopefully get a cushion built up to keep things covered while we look.

I will be writing as much as I can, but I’m also not going to be able to do as much as I’d like to be simply because there’s only so much time in a day. I would like to be more active, though it might be a while before I’m able to be as active as I was in the past. (I am actually extremely sad I had to miss Leon’s birthday on the 8th!)
