• As a child, hidden behind something or someone, Ingrid used to spend lots of time watching Queen Aslaug, admiring how softly she moved, spoke to people and how pretty and glorious she looked on her even prettier clothes.
• It wasn’t until Ingrid become a young woman that she started to go to feasting and had her first interaction with the Queen. Their meeting wasn’t the best.
• Ingrid feels intimidated by Aslaug but not enough to lower her head, and the urge to show the Queen that she can be trusted.
• It takes a long time before one sincerely smile to the other, that’s probably the only act of affection they’ll ever show, but for Ingrid it’s enough to know she’s earned the Queen’s trust and that perhaps Aslaug will accept easier that Ingrid&Ivar are closer than his mother thought.
• The smile turns into a gratitude smile when Ingrid proves that she’s not only trustable, but that she can also make Ivar happy and whenever they need, the two women can sit and talk about anything with wine as their company.

• Despite the age, Dany is far more experienced than Ingrid and she even gives some advices when Ingrid allows her to do so.
• Ingrid is not comfortable with the dragons, even when Dany uses the argument they’re similar because Ingrid also has fire inside her - and the fiery hair. Eventually, Ingrid is convinced to “meet” Dany’s children but is still not comfortable with being compared to dragons.
• Dany makes Ingrid eat lots of cake. All kinds of cake.
