Jin Ling going back in time before his parents were dead only to catch Jiang Cheng being gently coaxed by Yanli as they talk about Wei Wuxian oh so fondly.
Then he turns around to see JGY getting bullied and almost picks a fight in an instant because Shushu used to defend him but here dragged away by jgy because who the fuck is this kid and why is he calling him Shushu?
And why is Jin Zixuan here when he hasn't figured out what to do with this young kid who is now struggling to lie because he's panicking but also in total awe of his "older brother".
Jgy is almost disappointed with how long it took him to figure it out but it's like 5 minutes and now he is sitting in a room with Jiang Zongzhu, Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan.
And the kid is hiding behind him holding onto his lapels because - "shushu you are smart about these things, please help, I don't want jiujiu to be mad at me." - who he assumes is Jiang Cheng with the way the boy refuses to make eye contact with the man.
He has his hands full because the kid sucks at explaining things (gets it from his father most likely), is definitely over affectionate with the way he has been moving around JGY (probably his mother) and fears but remains haughty in wake of guilt (probably like Jiang wanyin).
So he cancels on plans he can postpone to help mitigate between the parents and the son. No, none of this has anything to do with the warm feeling in his chest when the kid calls him shushu. (He gets to be shushu >.<)
Anyways they figure out that he ended up here due to an array set up by Wei Wuxian which sends Jiang Wanyin into another stream of what JGY labels in his head his faux disappointed voice and Jiang Yanli is trying to calm him but she has a possibly softer expression on her face while Jin Zixuan is having a little crisis over the fact that he has a son with his wife...

Speaking of James Gunn, I just saw a newly released interview where he mentioned he didn’t expect G.I robot to be so popular and would have feature/done something with the character if he knew it would be so popular.
So…I guess this means he does like it when characters are popular with the audience and the popularity gives him a little push to feature or explore more with said character.
This brings me to my delulu hope of seeing more Adrian Chase content in the future - I mean c’mon Vigilante is so popular and he knows that too 😣 do something about the character :/
Hahah oh I remember the pictures from the wedding! Freddie did look like a dancing queen. Somebody asked James Gunn if he had plans for Peacemaker and Vigilante after the season was over and his response was "oh yes" so we'll definitely see more of him!
After catching up to the Onimai manga, I've gotta admit I'm abit sad
partially because there's not much more content, but also because it kinda feels like the series is losing focus on Mahiro experiencing girlhood
It's my favourite aspect of Onimai and it's sad to me that it seems to end up focusing more on standard slice of life and school stuff..
