It weren’t every day that somethin’ downright CRAZY happened in their neck of the woods ( though they did seem to attract their fair SHARE of it ). The captain smirks, the subtlest hint of humor on his face while the minister rolls right on through the first portion of the ceremony. He thinks, anyway. Not much experience with weddings, aside from his fake one–

        “Longer the ceremony, the shorter the reception, an’ I feel like I got less of a chance of gettin’ shot the more he talks.”

        “This is Patience we’re talkin’ about, sir. Don’t think she’s above shootin’ you dead at her own wedding-- imagine the story it’ll make.”
