Alastor just doesn't understand how much of Vox is technology and how much of him is ... well, organic?! It pisses him off because Hell is such a confusing place but at least hooves seem to be the norm. What the fuck are Vox's weird little toes.
He doesn't remember Vincent being into swimming, but he DOES recollect his odd obsession with fish and sharks in general. He sort of assumed Vox would come down to Hell as a shark of some kind? He prepared himself for an animal sinner with a long nose and fleshy gills.

Vox didn't really know what to expect from his lover's hell form. Even in hell, he had no clue what Aleister would turn into. So realizing his boy turned into this freaky little demon with sharp ears and narrow eyes was sort of 1. Oh jesus fuck he's scary and 2. Oh thank GOD he's still cute because there are some UGLY people in hell that don't resemble humans at ALL.
So there's a long while where they just try to figure each other out. Alastor's form is more straight forward, but his powers are still interesting so Vox asks all types of questions. Alastor kinda wants to dissect Vox but he doesn't think Vox would go for that (HE WOULDN'T.)
